Tsitso is an Australian Awards Scholarship alumna whose professional career spans over a decade, during which time she has worked in the private and public water sectors in South Africa and Australia. Her experience and expertise include ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems, stakeholder consultation, facilitating effective collaboration between stakeholders, risk assessment, water quality analysis, data analysis and modelling.

She is passionate about environmental sustainability. During her postgraduate studies she wrote her thesis on “Characterisation and quantification of microplastics at different stages of wastewater treatment across three Australian wastewater treatment plants.” At Isle, Tsitso works on the South African industrial and municipal Technology Approval Groups as well as collaborative projects, stakeholder engagement, and best available technology analyses. She is one of Isle’s technology scouts and undertakes due diligence assessments of water and wastewater technologies.
